Dd is getting (half of) one of these for her birthday in two weeks. I'm paying the rest as I've always wanted one. However... everywhere is sold out.
Nothing on ebay..that'll be lockdown for you.
Does anyone on here have one they want to get rid of?? It must be in excellent working condition. I guess it would involve a courier given current travel restrictions.
Not a scam... I'm sure mumsnet can vouch for me having been here for donkeys years if needed.
Feel free to DM me.

@MsTSwift if you don’t mind me asking what’s the ongoing cost and maintenance like? Is it a bit of a hassle to clean etc?

Nope. Chlorine goes in every few days. Emptied and cleaned every 4 months. Takes about an hour to do.

I wanted an inflatable but dh insisted we did it properly got proper one lighting and remodelled part of garden. Had since Xmas 2017 I use it pretty much daily summer and winter. Christmas morning was lovely in it!

Can I ask a question about the inflatable ones for those that have them? Do they have ‘seats’ in them, or do you have to sit on the floor of them?
We have been discussing one recently. Dh thinks it’s something we won’t use beyond the first 2 Weeks (which is a possibility but The dds and I are pretty keen) so I wondered about possibly getting one of the inflatable ones as an interim measure. Trouble is, if it doesn’t have seats in and isn’t that comfortable to use, I probably won’t and this will prove his point Grin
We’ve got the money for our summer holiday that looks unlikely to happen now so could get a proper one which I’d much prefer...
I mean, he’s not working or getting paid at the moment so we probably have something better to spend 10 grand on but still... it’s something to think about...

We paid £2500 for decent hard standing tub and £2500 to build decking round it so you walk out direct from house to the hot tub we also put in proper lighting as we use it at night a lot in winter. We were going to remodel garden anyway as kids older so got rid of trampoline etc. Dh refuses to do things in a shoddy way so an inflatable straight onto grass wouldn’t work for him. It would get boggy and the tub gets muddy.

Three years on it’s a big part of our lives. For example most mornings I exercise shower then take my coffee and a book into the hot tub. Then atm late afternoon we all get in with a beer or coke for the kids. We love it but keep quiet about it irl as in our area it’s rather sneered at. Their loss though!

Just some advice do not buy anything from Homebase!

I placed an order on March 23rd and still haven't received it! Their Facebook page is full of people with similar complaints. They are letting people order and pay for things they don't actually have in stock.

Don't be tempted to buy anything from them. The lead times on their websites are a load of bollocks!
