What’s everyone today on this beautiful Easter Eve? 😍

We have woke up to the sun streaming in, have a fridge full of good food and even our 3 DC seem to have made some kind of weird harmonious pact as we haven’t had one single argument...yet!!!!

I’m going to make Easter cakes, sort out the big bag of summer clothes in the hope that this glorious weather is here to stay and paint the wooden gate in our garden pink, well just because and then sit in the garden enjoying a few blackberry mojitos...

What’s everyone else up to?

I'm doing an egg hunt for my DC as I'm working tomorrow.

Later this morning I'm taking part in a virtual running relay to raise money for the NHS.

DC also have online dance classes to complete and then I'm going to chuck them in the garden.

Beautiful day? It's grey and looks like it will rain where I am.

Saying that I have no plans. Kids are still sleeping and DP is at work. I might go for a walk in the afternoon. I did want to bake but my local supermarket didn't have anything left.

Bopalopashamalamadingdong · 11/04/2020 09:54

Not so nice here either!

We will chill this morning then after lunch we will go for a walk. Kids are looking forward to BGT tonight.

Finishing tidying the patio and deck after the jet washing yesterday, bribe the DC to paint the garden gate and stain one of the garden benches (thank goodness we have a shed full of paint/stain etc) and wash and dry the outdoor cushion covers.

TheWordmeister · 11/04/2020 09:58

Glorious here. We've just done 5 miles with the dogs.

In the garden for the rest of the day.

elephantoverthehill · 11/04/2020 10:00

It is beautiful here, I've just hung out some washing and put some plants out to start hardening off. Dcs are still in bed, well they are teenagers and seem to have turned a bit nocturnal. Shower and then making more scrubs for the local Hospice

Dull grey and rainy here.
Will go my mandatory walk later down the same way I've gone before, still a nice walk though.

thequeenbeyondthewall · 11/04/2020 10:17

Not sure if it might rain here? Northwest.

Might make some porn star martinins.

If my DH can find a gas regulator in the shed we may have a bbq just the three of us.

I have some clothes to sort out for eBay. Probably best to do this before I start on the cocktails.

I have to put the new chrome numbers on our front door what I bought and order a new letterbox.

I have to do housework also which I am putting off sitting here reading what else I could
Be doing.

dyscalculicgal96 · 11/04/2020 10:30

Nothing at the moment. We will go for a walk later and then after dinner read the Bible as a family. On Monday we will have a family Easter BBQ if the weather is good.

Tumbleweed101 · 11/04/2020 10:31

Gorgeous here. Will get some washing out and spend the day pottering in the garden :).

Toddlerteaplease · 11/04/2020 10:43

I'm sitting in my garden with a cup of tea, then I'll go for a bike ride later. Then watch the Easter vigil on Facebook live.

lucysmam · 11/04/2020 10:52

It's lovely here. I'm just about to peg some washing out.

I've spent the morning making a few Easter decs to put up to surprise dd2 who seems very excited for tomorrow for some reason [bgrin]

Once the washing's out, I'll get dressed & then raid my fabric stash to see if I have anything suitable for making heart pairs that my local NHS trust have asked for 💗

No idea what the girls want to do yet; they went to bed late again last night so are still in bed atm. Maybe we'll make hot cross buns for tomorrow's breakfast :)

Xiaoxiong · 11/04/2020 11:08

Apple cinnamon porridge for breakfast.

Just did my 5km run (raising money for local children's hospice whose donations have dried up, trying to run 5km every day this week).

Now hobbling up the stairs for a shower.

Chicken soup in the garden for lunch.

Hang out washing.

A load of zoom calls with family.

Read my book about coastlines and wish I was by the sea. Plan future trip to the sea. Daydream about the sea. Imagine booking sailing lessons for the children.

Spag bol for dinner. Remember to take lamb joint out of the freezer for Sunday lunch.

Watch next two episodes of Twin on BBC4.

A lovely gentle day!!

Umnoway · 11/04/2020 11:23

Beautiful weather here too. DH is going to do a bit more gardening and the DC are already out playing. We decorated for Easter yesterday and did some crafts. Egg hunt tomorrow.

GenderApostate19 · 11/04/2020 11:31

It’s gorgeous outside but I’m sat indoors with doors /windows shut because 3 of my immediate neighbours have pressure washers going and it’s driving me insane 😡 They’ve had all fucking week to do it.
I just want to sit outside with a cuppa enjoying the sunshine but even with earplugs I can’t block out the horrendous noise.
