What are you watching that may be of interest to my tastes?
Like
Thrillers, psychological thrillers, supernatural light horror (not gore fest but love scary)
Like some comedy too (not really mixed with scary though)

Don't like:
Vampires, zombie, gore fest, post apocalyptic stuff, dystopian

Thanks 😊

The Stranger on Netflix. I love this, well worth a watch

owlalwaysloveyou · 10/04/2020 09:24

Netflix has Living With Yourself which is a comedy with an unusual premise. Lovesick is an underrated comedy too. The thrillers I enjoy are a little gory so I won't mention those 🙂

Welcome to mercy. Its a slow burner but at the end you'll be shocked.

Comedy - The Middle. We watch it in Prime. Don’t know if it’s on Netflix.

vampirethriller · 10/04/2020 10:17

I came on with a long list but you don't like any of themGrin
Kath and Kim is very funny.

yetea · 10/04/2020 10:22

I'm watching 'You' at the minute and really enjoying it. Its a thriller but for the most part seems like a romance.

skippy67 · 10/04/2020 10:25

Ozark.
You (definitely not a romance!)

DippyAvocado · 10/04/2020 10:26

We just started watching Darkon Netflix, a supernatural-type series. It's German but dubbed. Really good so far.

DippyAvocado · 10/04/2020 10:28

Dark on Netflix mine should say.

yetea · 10/04/2020 13:53

Yep skippy67, I wasn't clear, I meant to mention that so that no one was put off when they started watching it, thinking that it was a romance drama. Which yes, it definitely isn't!

TeaSoakedDisasterMagnet · 10/04/2020 17:39

The haunting of hill house

Bananajam · 10/04/2020 19:38

If you like documentaries then How to fix a drug scandal is fascinating.

Conny848 · 10/04/2020 19:44

I like similar types of programmes to you and The stranger is fab. Sex education is a comedy drama and I'm enjoying that. I love sons of anarchy although it doesn't really fit your brief but it's one of my favourite programes. Have you seen making a murderer? You might like that. If you like true crime, the staircase is also a must. I'm watching you as well. Its OK, just a bit slow. Enjoy.

ChocolateCoffeeCake · 10/04/2020 20:07

We've just started Locke & Key which is a supernatural one.

thequeenbeyondthewall · 10/04/2020 21:08

The Fall
The Sinner

Both really good physiological series.

custardbear · 11/04/2020 03:17

Thank you!
You was great!
The Dark is brilliant even with the dubbing
Locke and Key and hill house greAt, exactly what I like ... sinner too was great - don't recall the fall so will check it out! Thanks

The Unforgotton is really good and has three series. I've really enjoyed the first two!

IScreamForIceCreams · 11/04/2020 08:19

Lion on Netflix
Hunters on Amazon
After Life - on Netflix from 24th

Ineedabreak19 · 11/04/2020 08:23

This is a fil rather than a series but it's on Netflix atm, Contagion. Very topical due to the Coronavirus pandemic and it has an all star cast.

m.imdb.com/title/tt1598778/

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 11/04/2020 08:26

Dirty John

The Letdown is very funny.

TeaSoakedDisasterMagnet · 11/04/2020 18:26

Oh there’s a Canadian version of The Letdown too called Workin’ Moms.

If you don’t mind the superhero stuff The Boys on Amazon is good. It’s about what happens when superheroes are managed as a brand by a big corporation.

DuesToTheDirt · 11/04/2020 18:41

Re dubbing, if you want you can change the settings on Netflix so you get original language + subtitles instead.

BillieLurk · 11/04/2020 18:49

Zone Blanche/Black Spot on Netflix. It’s a French crime series with supernatural elements. Really creepy and enjoyable.
