Back story I'm in one part of the country. My ds2 is in another part. He has autism and is profoundly deaf....
He decided to tell me(and show me!! 🤮) at 9pm last night about his infected big toe which he had had since Sunday and looked very sore and painful... After I explained he should have told me earlier he was worrying about going to the surgery because of CV... He phoned the surgery early this morning using NGT Lite... I had to go to work from 10 till 5 and was worrying how he had got on....
The surgery were AMAZING They explained he musnt go in... They arranged a video call and not only that they had a member of staff who could use sign language in on the call.... They diagnosed as I suspected an ingrowing toenail.
By the time I had my lunch break at 12.30pm, he had finished the call, picked up his prescriptions been to the chemist and collected his meds and was home with his support worker working out a time schedule for him to take his pills and put his cream on.... How blooming amazing is that... He is a VERY lucky young man... 💙 💙 💙

That’s fantastic. Well done to his surgery but also well done to your son.
Hope his toe heals soon.

He's just videoed himself clapping and thanking the surgery...
