I'm not giving away anything on here. But I was wondering what is the protocol of raising a concern about a care setting. What was your experience and did they actually deal with your concern? Were they helpful? Thanks in advance.

Yes I put a complaint. Yes it was closed.
I’m not sure if it was as a result of my complaint as a person fell to her death after we paid a visit.
I said when we came out..this place needs a match putting to it.
It was a death trap and an accident waitIng to happen..I wish I’d complained before the tragedy.
The person might still have been alive.

Was it a care home Dowser?

Yes..one I looked over for my mum to have respite care while we went on a break.
She had Alzheimer.
Amongst many faults ..the carpets had rucks in shed have tripped over. She’d have had a room upstairs and the staircase was not blocked off
How it ever got passed inspectors I’ll never know
While we were away a resident fell to her death. That would’ve been my mum.
And it smelled.
