Tell me about your paddling pools for small children

DD is 1 and would love a little paddling pool for warm weather. All the ones I’ve seen are aimed at 3+.

I don’t want to be overly neurotic and can’t see how a supervised one year old would be in any more danger than a three year old, but maybe I am not thinking about something obvious. We’d get something shallow anyway and (obviously) one of us would be with her all the time.

Which pools do you have/would you recommend?

We've got the frog one that pp has linked to (in our case found it in Aldi last year). It's very good. We also bought some plastic balls and use it as a ballpit in the living room.

I would recommend a solid plastic one then you can fill as narrow or as full as you want. The one I have I could probably have squeezed in with baby dds.

I got them from the entertainer when they were 6 and 3 and still get used now each year at 11 and 7. Now they generally use to fill up water guns or cool down in. Best £15 I spent for 2 (they have one each!)
