In a way I can understand as if I was Gordon Ramsey I’d rather be in Cornwall than London
And if that’s also their home....

Kirstie was out of order though knowingly traveling down to Devon with the virus, but I can still understand it to a certain extent

I hope Gordon took a good cook with him!

Lardlizard · 09/04/2020 10:10

He’s said he’s perfecting loads of new recipes

He also says he is shopping pretty much daily which isn't really cricket.

All the royals are now in "2nd" (3rd, 4th...!) homes too

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 09/04/2020 10:12

Kirstie has already clarified that her Devon home is her permanent resident. She has a London address she uses if needed. She has another Devon address she uses if needed.

But the Devon home she is in now is her main residence.

Again, with the Royals, they have "home" and "office".

So the Cambridges gave their home (Anmer) and their office (Kensington).

Bull. Shit. Her kids go to school in London: www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/kirstie-allsopp-slammed-letting-kids-18967444

If your kids attend school in London then it's your permanent residence.

Unless she's claiming the nanny is with them in London while she lives in Devon Hmm

Stellamboscha · 09/04/2020 13:50

If you can -why not? Seems like everybody is being so judgy /they will be paying massive council tax and as youngish people not likely to be a burden on hospitals.

Palavah · 09/04/2020 13:54

@Stellamboscha

  1. Gordon Ramsay isn't youngish, and if each of them is decamping with a spouse and 2-4 children that's 6 people that weren't supposed to be there. Plus staff.
  2. supply chain - ok they might be able to put cash into a local grocer but who's to say they're not exacerbating local shortages?
  3. did they self-isolate for 14 days between last contact in London and first contact in their retreat location?
