It’s at 3.35 am so tomorrow really but I’m setting my alarm. A bit of joy.

No. Some of us are getting up at half 6 to go to work

FaFoutis · 07/04/2020 21:04

Your joy didn't last long!

I'm excited, but it's cloudy here.

LuluBellaBlue · 07/04/2020 21:06

Yes, I’ve been watching it grow each night and been looking forward to these next two evenings

MrsGrindah · 07/04/2020 21:06

Well I need to get up early too but I reckon one night won’t kill me. Last nights moon was so bright too.

The moon makes me all weird when its too bright.
Its lovely to look at, but if it wakes me up I won't be best pleased. 😁

iHateJanuary2020 · 07/04/2020 21:08

Last nights was huge. I fell asleep with the curtains open and the moon shining on me. Was wonderful. Didn't know there was a bigger version tonight, thanks OP Smile

VivaLeBeaver · 07/04/2020 21:08

I saw the moon rise earlier and thought it looked massive. You could just make out the fact it was moving upwards as well, moved quite quickly.

YouStupidBoy · 07/04/2020 21:08

I get up early to run (0410 this morning) and there is something so special about casting shadows in the moonlight; I love it. Tomorrow morning should be a good one!

MrsGrindah · 07/04/2020 21:09

I love anything to do with the moon , stars space etc. so it’s nice to have a distraction from all the gloom. DH thinks I’m odd but I don’t care!

My DH has been out taking photos of it. It is very clear tonight and the moon looks amazing.

MrsGrindah · 07/04/2020 21:09

I just went out to try and see but it’s cloudy here - will have another look laterSmile

MrsGrindah · 07/04/2020 21:11

@iHateJanuary2020 You are welcome. Just hope it’s as spectacular as it sounds.

It's OK @MrsGrindah I live rurally, no one about!!

TheEndIsBillNighy · 07/04/2020 21:12

Yes, I mentioned it to my husband at about 8 o clock. It looked beautiful, and slightly hazy.

MrsGrindah · 07/04/2020 21:13

Oh@bruffin that’s fab! I can’t see anything yet

bluegrasse · 07/04/2020 21:15

I'll be out doing some photos I expect, I'm getting a bit bored of just taking photos in my garden when now would be an ideal time to take pictures of deserted towns and cities - an opportunity I obviously can't take.

DareToTiger · 07/04/2020 21:16

We went on our allocated daily walk a few minutes ago and saw it!

spinthebottle · 07/04/2020 21:16

Can see it from here it’s lovely Smile

Whyhellodaffodil · 07/04/2020 21:17

Cloudy here so no moon to see - but when I went out to look there was a bat swooping about which was lovely to see

MrsGrindah · 07/04/2020 21:18

My bathroom window is usually the best place to see it from...last night it lit up the whole room,

fascinated · 07/04/2020 21:18

It’s out already , why don’t you look now?

ErrolTheDragon · 07/04/2020 21:19

It's got partial cloud over it here and doesn't look significantly bigger than usual to me. Confused
And it's headed behind the windowless end wall of my house. I'll try to remember to go out into the back garden when I let the dog out for his last wee tonight.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 07/04/2020 21:19

Cloudy here.
Shame, we’ve had some lovely clear nights recently too
