How old is your baby / child?
What time do they wake?
What time do they go to sleep?

why?

ImfinallyaMummy · 06/04/2020 13:38

I'm curious what the norm is and if I'm trying to get my baby to sleep much earlier than most 🤷🏻‍♀️

My child is 17 months.

She did not sleep at all until 15 months.

She now sleeps 7.30 to around 7. Bed time 7.30.

She naps once after lunch.

Paddingtonthebear · 06/04/2020 13:41

7.5 years old
Bedtime at 8pm
Awake around 6.30am

NemophilistRebel · 06/04/2020 13:41

Age 2.5
Goes to bed - anytime between 8-9pm currently
Wakes up - thanks to lack of traffic about 8am

Outside of lockdown wake up would be around 7am due to traffic noise

Sipperskipper · 06/04/2020 13:42

3 next month. Bedtime 7.45, doesn’t fall asleep until around 8.

Used to sleep a solid 12 hours from when she fell asleep, now waking up around 6.15-30. No idea why!

inwood · 06/04/2020 13:44

Ok well mine are 9 now, generally go to bed at half seven in term time and read until eight. Go to bed later in holidays.

Wake up between 5 and 6 regardless of what time they go to bed.

As babies they went down after their 7pm bottle. Up for the day anywhere from 4-6am. They have always been early risers. The 4am stretch nearly killed me.

He's always been a good sleeper.

All babies are different though so what works for us might not work for you.

Asleep c.8pm

Nap after lunch 1.5hrs

Usually 12-12.5hrs/day which I think is low end of normal/average

sirfredfredgeorge · 06/04/2020 14:03

The "norm" is so wide that there's really no point with this thread.

The requirements for an individual can differ by 4 hours on amount of sleep needed.

ImfinallyaMummy · 06/04/2020 14:07

@sirfredfredgeorge There's always one 🙄
