Chicken sausages

I've never had them before! Iv fried them for 10 mins then put them in tomato sauce for 10 mins then put them with the sauce and pasta in the oven for 15 mins. They'll be cooked right?

Depends how thick they are. And they won't have continued cooking, covered in cold sauce. Longer won't hurt.

BizarreBizarre · 06/04/2020 12:03

Oh I've eaten them now Shock

NW2SW · 06/04/2020 12:06

Eaten in 4 minutes? 35 minutes cooking would have been fine. It's just the same as a regular sausage.

I ate them about 11.50 then wondered lol

HyperactivePineapple · 06/04/2020 12:35

What did the cooking instructions say?

gamerchick · 06/04/2020 12:37

Chicken sausages cook a lot faster than pork. They'll have been fine OP.

DangerCat01 · 06/04/2020 12:37

Are rank

gamerchick · 06/04/2020 12:38

They're not rank, they're just different to what you're used to. Lower in fat as well.

BizarreBizarre · 06/04/2020 12:39

Thanks I didn't look at the instructions oops

OP posts:
kleew1 · 06/04/2020 12:39

Heck chicken chipolatas take 8 - 10 minutes and they are like rubber... So you'll have been fine unless they are HUGE! Did you like them?

BizarreBizarre · 06/04/2020 12:39

Erm I'm not sure I liked them to be honest. Normal sausages are a bit tougher aren't they

OP posts:
HyperactivePineapple · 06/04/2020 13:05

You are asking on here if it will be okay without looking at the instructions?

Confused

Hi all. Could we stop telling each other to fuck off and get back to the topic of the (frankly vile) chicken sausages please?
Peace and love.

What a shame. I didn't even get to see the abuse I got Wink

Well, it gets tiring seeing people jumping on to the OP with some clever comment every single time.

Windyatthebeach · 06/04/2020 15:56

Imo the turkey ones are so much nicer...

HyperactivePineapple · 06/04/2020 17:33

Don't worry @Obviouspretzel, it was only the abuse you gave, reflected back at you. You didn't miss much. One of my deleted posts was deleted merely because I quoted your post.

I fail to see how asking for the cooking instructions want constructive. But you do you!

Obviouspretzel · 06/04/2020 17:36

You didn't ask for the instructions though did you? You made a snidey comment about someone asking without looking at them.

ShirleyPhallus · 06/04/2020 17:38

How did a thread about sausages get so salty so quickly?!

FWIW, I much prefer chicken sausages to pork. No idea why they’re getting so much hate

HyperactivePineapple · 06/04/2020 17:40

I did ask for the instructions.

Then the op replied.

And then was confused why the op didn't check the instructions before posting on here. Presumably they still had them at the top of the bin at that point.

Nothing snide at all. And certainly not an example of this place getting 'worse and worse' with a personal attack worthy of deletion.

HyperactivePineapple · 06/04/2020 17:42

@ShirleyPhallus your guess is as good as mine, and I seem to be the one getting blamed 😂

Obviouspretzel · 06/04/2020 17:47

Oh yes you did ask for the instructions earlier. I apologise for that bit.
