Asda Recurring Slots

Ive been lucky enough to manage to book a recurring slot with Asda. I've looked at the FAQ and the cancellation rules are a bit confusing.

Can you cancel it as often as you want within the 6 month period or is it restricted. One part reads like you can only cancel twice in six months but another reads that so long as you cancel in advance (cant see how you can cancel any other way) it can be multiple times

I wish Tesco did them itd be SO much easier

I have one myself but not sure about the cancellation policy. I would be very wary of cancelling at the moment due to the availability. You can skip a week though and I presume you can do that as often as you need to

No way am I cancelling it I feel like I've won the lottery getting it. I didnt realise how stressed I was at not getting an online slot til I got this one. It's such a relief knowing I have a guaranteed slot til Sept. I'm shopping for myself & my Mum. There are a couple of weeks that due to my shifts I wont be at home at my delivery slot so would need to skip them. I'd rather ask for time off work to be there for it than risk it. I'm just hesitant at skipping a delivery when the FAQ arent clear

I've skipped a couple of times and never had a problem, but that was before all this started. Might be worth trying to give them a call if you can get through on their number?

Thanks. I take it to skip it you just cancel your order or is there something else I should do. Can you tell Asda is new to me 🤭

If you have a reoccuring slot, you can go into your delivery pass under your account and it will have the option to skip or cancel. Make sure you press skip because cancel will get rid of your slot entirely. You may have to wait until a couple of days before you're due to use it.

Just keep checking. I usually get an email from them to say that I have one coming up and I need to order by a certain date to preserve the slot.

Redglitter - did you figure this out? Have you skipped more than 2 slots? I have a recurring slot for my elderly mum but am reluctant to skip more than 2 slots as the online help is ambiguous. Thanks!

I believe during this time, you can cancel twice only x
