Police visits to hospital - checking we are ok!

Rather nice. They are sking if all ok or if some CV people been coming in demanding to be seen (I guess with MH issues). No it has been quiet. Nice that someone cares though, innit?

You mean the police are hanging round a& e chatting up the staff? Isn't that normal in any hospital on any day of the year?

Yes, it is nice that they care.

DS had a visit from the Police in the pharmacy the other day, just checking they were all ok. He was pleased to see them and said they had been getting less abuse than they normally get, though other pharmacies are reporting more abuse.

Pharmacy here, we're getting visits checking on us to, so far no major problems

No they don't normally hang around here but I do get them phoning up most days looking for vulnerable missing persons. They do occasionally bring them in too.

I was worrying that with the lockdown on the wards there would be trouble. Especially as mental illness runs in some families and we do get trouble when things get stirred up and they are not allowed to visit anymore. But the 'usual suspects' have been very understanding. As long as they can bring stuff in for their family!
