What’s the one thing that’s kept your (younger) kids occupied during this time?

Best thing you’ve done / own / etc to keep your kids from getting bored throughout lockdown?

Mine would probably be garden climbing frame or Lego!

Mine are 6 and nearly 5; they have really enjoyed playing outside a lot, but if we’re indoors, they’ve loved playing with tubs of slime and all the itsy bitsy toys I keep in a tub (crud out of Kinder Eggs etc), Playmobil and making dens.

Outdoors, trampoline & a dodgy goal chalked on the fence for football

They love taking their dolls in pushchairs & prams outside on the close and into the garden - we can access the back from the front, so they spend hours out there.

Sandpit and digging out the old wii and playing Mario kart! Turned into some great family competitions 😃

Dc should be avoiding trampolines

Genuine question - why? Confused

INeedNewShoes · 03/04/2020 23:24

I believe because they're the most common cause of fractures in children seen in A&E...

MyDcAreMarvel · 04/04/2020 11:05

Yes because the chance of broken bones and a trip to A and E is so high. Its a risk for both the child and parent going to A and E and extra pressure on the nhs.
