Taking food to vulnerable parents

I have online food deliveries sent to my house for my vulnerable parents and grandfather. Is it acceptable to take my 3 year old in the car with me to deliver it? She wouldn’t get out of the car and I would just put it outside the door and come back home again. I could wait until this evening when she is asleep and go then but would prefer to give them the food sooner rather than later.

If you have no one else to look after your child then take them with you. If there is someone to look after them later then go later. Is the food likely to spoil in a few hours?

Can't see why this would be a problem, especially if she stays in the car. It's an essential service and you couldn't leave a 3 year old home alone!
