I'm not. I have tried many many on the list. I have done craft, baked, exercise, tried to teach even minor basics, . We have read and they have watched too much tv.

One of them is always crying. Always. All day long. Or screaming at each other. Or sullen and snarling. 7 and nearly 3.

I have a 2 year old and though we have a tiny garden, I bought a trampoline, slide and swing for her( all secondhand from fb market before the lockdown) so she can spend some of her energy there.

I also have made a small diy mudkitchen for her there with a baby pool where I let her splash and wash her dollies/toys when the weather is a bit better on some days.

Lots of drawing.

Stickers.

We go for a walk every other day(live in a cul de sac).

Fill up the tub and let her splash about with her inflatable toys.

I let her help out while cooking. She loves it.

This link looks quite interesting for kids of all ages.

Glad to know it isn't just me that is crap at this!
I have decided to make a spinning wheel with activities on it and get the kids to pick some things we can put on. Then they can spin and whatever it lands on they have to do.
I need many more ideas though. We have previously done fossils, science experiments, footprint painting and more. I just need to look back for inspiration but Ds is getting older but harder to please!
