Or picking up cargo. Pretty standard operations really

HappyGG · 02/04/2020 12:14

Not 'in' the North Sea obviously! Grin

The Falcon is in a hold pattern

Ah It’s turned, must be refuelling!

notimagain · 02/04/2020 12:17

BA haven't announced any plan to park up 777s..., it's one of the long haul fleets they are planning to keep running...

LittleRen · 02/04/2020 12:17

It’s landing at Shannon and it is going on to Chicago. That was always the planned route.

kilisibird · 02/04/2020 12:17

Look at the flight path for FA20. Little Falcon having a whale of a time doing turns in the North Sea...

Falcons are Cobham Aviation, used for RAF training. Common over the sea there and very often accompanied by a voyager refuelling aircraft

kilisibird · 02/04/2020 12:19

The Falcon is in a hold pattern

It's not. It's a training aircraft for the RAF.

Blobby10 · 02/04/2020 12:19

Can anyone tell me what the Babcock Onshore helicopters do? There seem to be an awful lot of them around today!

It seems to have just landed in Shannon - but it's cargo, so may have been mislabelled as to destination

notimagain · 02/04/2020 12:21

What.the Cobham Falcon? I more than somewhat doubt it..

As kilisbird said they they fly around, sometimes doing interesting flight profiles in support of training for the military..

HavenDilemma · 02/04/2020 12:23

I stand corrected re: the Falcon. It is a Falcon belonging to Cobham Aviation, used in contract with the military to provide training and simulation.

HappyGG · 02/04/2020 12:27

Interesting about the Cobham Falcon, thank you Smile

Does look like a toddler got hold of a crayon though...

BiddyPop · 02/04/2020 12:29

simonisnotme · 02/04/2020 12:50
