Any idea what they might be? Not sure whether to be worried or not.

Any other symptoms?

DesignedForLife · 29/03/2020 13:28

We had that last week. Bizarre virus with high temperature and bright red spots on throat and tongue.

Most likely strep throat infection. Paracetamol and you’ll be fine in a few days.

I replied to a thread on General Health about the same thing Op, I had this early Feb lasted 4- 5 weeks, felt like I hadn't swallowed my food properly.
Gp said nothing to worry about when he examined my throat (but every case different.)
Had white spots on the blisters/raised lumps sometimes.
No other symptoms.
Goes then comes back, can feel it still there slightly now.
Mild infection? Gargle wth salt water?
Be interested to hear others thoughts.

Thats my thread in general healthGrin

I wondered about strep throat.

Also about thrush??! (From googling) I had a course of antibiotics recently and I did have to treat thrush ahem elsewhere, but didn’t think it could be the same?

I’ve definitely had a virus recently (I posted in the lungs burnt in thread).

I saw them because I felt like there was something stuck in my throat.

Hand foot and mouth?

PristineCondition · 29/03/2020 14:43

The spots on my tongue don't match hand, foot and mouth.
Im abit baffled tbh as it doesn't seen to pair up with anything

They just look like blood blisters. I was ill a couple of weeks ago and feel like I'm fighting off a cold. I do have a sore throat...

(No cough) high temperature etc)
