Tonight we are going to draw all the blinds in the our MOHO on the drive, cook dinner, spend the evening in there, pretending we're on holiday!
Might even spend the night!
Just an idea for a change of scenery if you have one too.

We did this last weekend, was actually quite fun. Board games and comfort food.

HPLikecraft · 28/03/2020 16:28

Yep, as soon as it's a tiny bit warmer we're off in holiday in the caravan...on the drive! I've also suggested big tent in the back lawn but haven't had any takers yet.

Aw, thanks!☺️

My daughter is living in ours isolating from the rest of the family as she is the only one who has to go out for work.

She’s only outside the front window but I am missing her.

Spending the night in there for you lot sounds like a lovely idea 🥰

Ah this is such a great idea!

Raera · 28/03/2020 18:26

We've decided that it's a black tie event.
There's just the two of us !

Ahh what a lovely idea!

The DCs scout troop are having an at home camp where they’re all making a camp in their own homes and sending photos. I think it’s brilliant!

bobstersmum · 28/03/2020 18:45

I desperately want a caravan, for this reason!

HPLikecraft · 28/03/2020 19:08

I'm lucky that my house has a mahoosive drive, so I may move the caravan to different locations on different nights, so we can have a multi destination holiday! 😀

TWD89 · 28/03/2020 19:50

Lol.

We have a static caravan - we were last there on what we called day one or the apocalypse (first time we saw bare shelves in the supermarket)

Left food in the fridge with the intention of going up the next weekend but they have closed indefinitely Sad

Totally get why but I would have loved that bit of escapism!

rslsys · 28/03/2020 20:32

We’ve been in the Caravan (parked on the drive, next to the house) since Thursday and will be here until Tuesday.
We had to cancel a weekend away last weekend due to the situation.
We’d been intending so spend a couple of nights on the drive from Monday whilst we had new carpets laid. Obviously the carpets are now on hold, but the appeal of a few nights in the ‘van was overwhelming!

GalactiCat · 28/03/2020 20:42

We were supposed to be heading up to the Highlands today for a week so instead we are staying in the van tomorrow night. Luckily we live on a Farm so can park up under the trees and may even light the fire pit.

Ijustcameforthecomments · 28/03/2020 20:50

We are planning a few nights in the caravan over Easter, parked beside our bedroom. DCs can't wait

Troels · 28/03/2020 21:20

One of the girls from work moved the family caravan to the driveway, if she has symtoms she's moving into it to protect her elderly parents.
Spending a bit of time in your own on the driveway sounds like a lot of fun. Have a good time.
