Inspiration for my roof terrace

I have an “illegal roof terrace”, ie a flat roof you can walk on but isn’t technically... whatever. It’s on the roof of a second floor bedroom, and I have a toddler so won’t be using it regularly as no proper guards to keep it safe around the edges. Eventually we’ll get it made into an proper terrace with decking but obviously not this year with everything that’s going on.

Any idea for what I can do with the space in the meantime? I can get out onto it safely. Neighbours keep bees in their garden, but I’m guessing it’s too windy for a beehive, and would they even fly this high? It’s South East facing. Ideas much appreciated!

Herbs to smell nice & attract bees and a couple of brightly coloured deckchairs.
