I'm as happy to think the worst of Johnson and his tangled relationships as any sensible person, but I would imagine in this instance it comes down to Carrie needing to self isolate away from him now and that potentially being for some weeks. Think she'd posted a photo of her and the dog (poor Dilyn) saying 'isolation isn't so bad with this one'. I expect the dog is better company and she's probably enjoying the break. However, she's part of his public relations strategy and I doubt she's leaving for good.
