Anyone with an Aga? How can I make Mary Berry's brownies in one?

Every time I try they end up a complete disaster! Too done, but completely under cooked in parts. Even though I am using the correct size tray they don't 'rise' as such at all? They come out very flat.
I can bake sponges etc no problem, but brownies defeat me every time. Any tips? I have a two door Aga. Thanks.

The top one? Roasting.

Are you following MB's aga recipe? If not, have a search for one online - she has written > 1 aga cookbook

I know, but when I try those recipes they don’t work either.

The bottom oven is baking- do you have a cold plain shelf?

Bottom oven with a cold plain shelf over them.

I have a two oven Aga and would do brownies with the grid shelf on the floor of the top oven and the cold shelf on 1st/2nd set of runners - as low as possible. Would keep a very close eye on them!

OK, thanks!
Will report back...

I did 20mins on the grid shelf in too oven with cold plain shelf on second set of runners as recommended. Then did 10 mins in bottom oven. They look perfect and taste yum! Thank you.
