Tesco delivery and older parents

Just a quick one. My parents have never had a shopping delivery before and are due one soon. I've told them to open the door and stand back and let the person unload the bag less shopping inside the front door. They don't have anything they can unload it into. Would that work? They're fretting a bit about it.

I mean person stands outside and puts things inside the door on the floor.

I had a Tesco delivery last night. The shopping ( in bags) was put on the doorstep. The driver knocked the door and I gave him time to move away before opening it. I could then bring all the shopping inside. I usually have bagless delivery but this time the shopping was bagged. No signing required.

That would be good. Our Tesco order yesterday came bagless. That would be much better for them, guess we'll have to wait and see!
