Due to travel 17/5, balance due 17/4 would you pay it?

I’m thinking obv not as we clearly won’t be going. DH says we have to pay balance to be able to claim a refund when they tell us not to travel.

This is just over £2K, so a lot of money

Yes. BA cancelled our flight next week with about 10 days' notice but can only access a voucher.
