Current events are obviously appalling, but there have been funny videos, songs, memes etc doing the rounds taking a tiny edge off things.
Social media will be the biggest source of these, but there must have been an equivalent during the major wars and other disasters?
Has anyone got any examples of ways people made light of their terrible times?
