Present ideas for a 17th birthday whilst in isolation.

It’s my nieces 17th birthday on Saturday and I was originally going to give £30 to pay for a driving lesson but as she’s in isolation and can’t start her lessons for some time I thought it might be nicer to get something else delivered to her instead but what...

Any suggestions?

Journaling I think is quite good. I would get her some nice stationery with half the money and give her the other half towards lessons in the future.

Not a delivery thing , but you could pay for her to have "Zoom" ? It's online conferencing - and she could have a virtual party / meet up with her friends? (Just discovered this -for 1 to 1 it's free and you can have unlimited time, for meeting more than 1 person, you get 40 mins free, but you have to pay for more than that.)

Does she have any hobbies? It depends what she likes. I.e
• Makeup (if she wears makeup)
• Box set of a tv series she might like
• Slippers/pyjama set
• Anything sports related if that is what she's into

She will probably appreciate something to do at home whilst self isolating. HTH
