anyone good at IT who can help me with a wfh query?

I have a HP ZR24w monitor and a Dell Latitude 7390 laptop. How can I connect them so I can use both screens while working at home? I initially ordered an HDMI to HDMI cable but the monitor has Displayport (and other connections) instead. To avoid any more delays by ordering the wrong thing, can anyone help me know what I need to get? Thanks in advance!

To connect my screen to my laptop I use an HDMI to VGA cable and it works well. Our screen is a bit older and doesnt have a displayport but i would guess it should work ok.

DisplayPort to HDMI - argos has them, I got one last week and it works well
