Any suggestions for board games that two people staying indoors can play?

Thanks!

Kingdominoes is another quick one

Star Realms
Ticket to Ride
San Juan / Puerto Rico (slightly more complicated) / Race for the Galaxy (more complicated still, our favourite)
Carcassonne

I love board games and play them all the time with my husband. But depends on what you want. If you want an interesting one but without a huge rule book, ticket to ride, catan, Carcassonne and takenoku. These are all really fun games, but simple enough that my 8 and 10 year old can play with us.

If you are prepared to invest the time in more complicated rules the world is your oyster. I have a cupboard full! Agricola as mentioned above is great. I also love twilight struggle (actually designed for two players, so works really well). Recently we have been playing alot of terraforming Mars, which I am loving.

Honestly there are so many out there! I have just ordered wingspan because the box looked pretty !

Not a board game but Uno is great fun. My daughter and I would play for hours.

Patchwork (an actual two player game)
Azul
Forbidden Desert
And another vote for Ticket to Ride

Placemarking to read through later

Jaipur is great and very simple to learn, albeit fairly quick. Hive and patchwork are great. Ticket to ride, seven wonders: duel.

For short fun games we also like boggle, scrabble, Dobble, mad libs if you need a laugh, or any of the mini trivial pursuit themed editions (eg Harry Potter)

Labyrinth is fun and fairly short. Agree with PP about Othello and Bananagrams too.
