As we have been on lockdown for ages, our normal routine has gone a bit out the window and I want to watch something together on tv in the evening - so not too violent or racy please. We watched Good Omens which was quite good. Something with a limited number of episodes would be great. Suggestions please! (We don't have UK channels but have Netflix/Sky - and Amazon temporarily)

DS (10) and I both loved the Lost in Space remake on Netflix!

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix.

Lost in Space was a big hit with both children and adults in our house.
Also Outnumbered on Netflix, I can really identify with the parents on that!

Thanks - I think we watched Lost in Space. Would love to see Outnumbered but it's not on our Netflix.

Would I lie to you, ours find it hilarious. Race around the world, like a travel programme but more interesting and any swearing bleeped out unlike one where they race not to get caught which was a nice idea but way too much swearing for us.

merlin

chillandrelax · 20/03/2020 14:43

Mine love the middle which is on prime.

Seventyone72seventy3 · 20/03/2020 14:44

Thanks. I don't mind about the swearing actually!

I loved Lemony Snicket on Netflix. Fantastic stories, very funny, a superb villain and so many other great characters (Esme Squalor was divine), just brilliant.

Oh and the outfits, sets, little details and general production were beautiful, it's a work of art.

And baby Sunny Grin

Although at times I found Violet quite irritating.

Other end if the day OP but if you're still isolating or at home with the kids next week Joe Wicks (the Body Coach) is doing a daily PE kids session on us YouTube channel for 30 minutes at 9am while school are closed. I think this will make an excellent start to the day and start to get structure in first thing which I think many will need.

DS is just working his way through Merlin he loves it

BearSoFair · 20/03/2020 15:20

His Dark Materials if it's still on iPlayer
Another vote for Lemony Snicket too

Seventyone72seventy3 · 20/03/2020 15:20

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz Yes, we plan on doing that on Monday - definitely need to get moving as we have been on lock down for (who knows? weeks? a month?) ages. We are in Italy and can't go out to exercise and DS is finding it really hard to sleep. I am hoping that exercise will help.

there are several series of each of these.

BigFatLiar · 20/03/2020 16:04
