Love him or hate him, I think this is a fab idea! 🙂 Every Monday to Friday at 9am he will be live streaming a workout session for kids from reception age to secondary school. No equipment needed and free to join in.

Brilliant idea and even better that it is 9 - will get them out of bed!

Where will it be available?

That's a great idea! Remember the Green Goddess and Mr Motivator in the 80s? Lots of people who were at home joined in everyday.

Fedupandpoor · 19/03/2020 12:39

I'm not sure what platform it will be available on, he has announced it on his Facebook and Instagram so I guess he will update on there.

Love this idea. A friend and I were just saying earlier 'do you think they'll bring back something like Music & Movement on the radio at the same time every week for all the kids like we used to have?' Joe Wicks workouts would be so much better

Fedupandpoor · 19/03/2020 12:40

Mr Motivator! 😂 God, I had forgotten about him!

Anyone remember Mad Lizzy? Grin

Great idea of Joe's!

BoogieFeet · 19/03/2020 12:45

I'd forgotten about the Green Goddess etc.. Maybe they should have someone doing a workout for the adults too - after all we're not going to be getting enough exercise while stuck at home

Fedupandpoor · 19/03/2020 12:47

He has been doing evening workouts at 7pm for adults, but I've usually ate dinner and had a glass of wine by that time Blush

Practically every yoga teacher, personal trainer and zumba teacher have moved online to the zoom platform so I'm sure you could find something on there.

I love Joe! ♥️

forrasee · 19/03/2020 12:59

He is a good egg!

Smithtylater · 19/03/2020 13:03

It will be live on his youtube channel...

TheHoundsofLove · 19/03/2020 13:03

I think it's going to be available on Youtube from Monday morning. I think it's a great idea and am definitely going to get my son doing it each morning.

slipperywhensparticus · 19/03/2020 13:05

He does some 5 minute exercise you tube vids for kids

ShowOfHands · 19/03/2020 13:09

I'm planning on doing workouts/runs/bike rides with the dc to replace PE and keep them exercising but will do this too.

Aragog · 19/03/2020 13:14

Great idea. If it goes ahead it will be something to add to our suggestions on our home learning platform too.

GloGirl · 19/03/2020 13:56

I am so excited for this!

Troels · 19/03/2020 15:15

I just realized I have a smart TV. who knew I'm going to love this, I looked him up on you tube and will get myself and Dd moving.
I also told Dh we will be doing Tai Chi as a family, to keep us all chilled out. Really it's so Dd (hormonal teen) and I don't bury him under the grass in the garden and plant a tree on top.

OhioOhioOhio · 19/03/2020 15:22

On YouTube? What a fantastic idea.

viques · 19/03/2020 15:28

Oh good for him. Though does anyone have an address where I can send him a couple of scrunchies to hold back his flowing curly locks, because after three minutes of watching him I have to sit on my hands to not reach through the screen and tie his hair back.........

PS if you have Netflix you can summon JW to your screen through Alexa.......
