Free School Meals/PP - food bank vouchers available

Hope this is helpful - if your child(ren) has free school meals please ask your school for food bank vouchers - my school has just received additional vouchers from our local food bank to give to families who are going to struggle without school meals once the schools close. Don’t be shy, don’t be embarrassed - they are there to be used!

Unfortunately food banks are running low on supply and I fear won’t be able to manage the coming influx of new service users with schools closing.

Eek that’s very true and a side effect of the supermarket restrictions will be that people can’t buy for the food banks in addition to their own shop, but you can always donate cash to them too

Use them if absolutely need to, not just because it's available.
