Everything right now is topsy turvey and right now I certainly feel like we could use a thread of good things! So, tell me your positives of the last day or so!

Mine is that last night, for the first time since I had DC2, both DC's (ages 1&2) slept through the night!!!

I just got my DS 8 months to have a nap on my bed for 25 minutes and I partially cleaned the bathroom! He normally needs to be in my arms to sleep! Feel very smug haha

Shout out to Sharon from Hermes. My heart sank a little when I got an email to say that my parcel would be delivered by Hermes. But this morning, I got a phone call off Sharon to ask exactly where I lived (small village with house names not numbers). After a brief conversation she knew where I lived, ( delivered many time to next door) and we arranged a safe place to leave the parcel as I knew I wouldn’t be in when she arrived. All worked really well. So thank you Sharon. What a great service.

DS1 who is 8 years old not only put all his and his brother's clean washing away, he had a go putting my and DH's washing away too - and did a pretty good job! And DS2 viakaled all the silver bits in the bathroom and helped me mop the floor. Trying to get them to have more life skills and it seems to be working (so far).

I think (hope) that a Good Thing to come out of all this is that people might stop smoking? Like, to protect their own lungs (as well as mine) and have realised how valuable it is to have working lungs.

I also hope that people stop fucking SPITTING in the street! What is the point in anti-baccing everything, washing hands, wearing masks Hmm and the like if people just keep spitting? It's supposed to be an airborne virus (or is that OutOfDate news now?).

If nothing else, maybe people realise how important washing hands is. And general hygiene of all areas.

@novacaneforthepain Woooo!! That must feel so great! I remember that stage well, a baby carrier was and still is my saviour, would one work for you?

@Iwantmychairback Thank you Sharon! She sounds lovely and we need far more delivery drivers to be like her!!

@Xiaoxiong That's amazing, bless him and it's lovely that he put everything away so well! Maybe it can be a new special grown-up job whilst he's home from school? I'm glad it's working for you, and also thank you for teaching your boys to clean/tidy!
