So I have been a member less than 3hours and already been shot down and told to start my own thread which is what I thought I had already done, apologies for being a mumsnet newbie but maybe people shouldn't be so judgemental, I just needed to vent, a listening ear, some advice, someone to be here for me, sorry I jumped on someone's heartbreak thread didn't know I had......

Hi, no judgement here...
I'm wide awake, my 13 year old been coughing all night, just woke up to give him more medicine.
I've had a very disturbed sleep, as I'm sure many have tonight

What's on your mind?

Lottieloo90 · 17/03/2020 04:43

Just needed to vent I fear there are some developmental issues with my children, posted my concerns on here and was shot down as I had unintentionally posted on some1 else's thread, new here so didn't realise. Got no help or feedback whatsoever. Proper gutted

Don't worry, @Lottieloo90, there are a small number of posters who seem to assume newcomers should mysteriously know every detail about how the entire site works.

The rest of us are more welcoming Smile

I'm listening, if you want a friendly ear?

Lottieloo90 · 17/03/2020 04:53

Ty I really appreciate it,for now I.need to sleep before my brain explodes, I'd love to take advantage of your listening ear at a more reasonable hour though. Ty again

No problem. Post back on this thread tomorrow, and I'll check in the evening. Rest well.

Do ask away, I'm sorry you received a poor welcome.

(Please tell me what 'Ty' means, did you intend to type 'Try' and the r didn't come out? That happens a lot on here.)
