Short break in May, will it be cancelled due to coronavirus?

It's a cheap short break (Sun holiday) but a UK holiday park type of place. Are these sorts of places likely to close and cancel holidays?

I don’t think anyone will be in a position to advise now.,

Probably depends how quickly we get to the ‘peak’. FWIW were meant to be going to Center parcs early May and I’m already assuming we won’t be (but I have an underlying health condition so am being cautious).

yes

All but essential travel and contact banned

Yes.

We’ve got five nights in London booked in May and we are expecting to cancel. The isolation measures are designed to flatten the peak of infection so this will probably last a while yet.

DW and I have a joint birthday party organised for Whit weekend at the end of May. We've pulled the plug, because a lot of the guests are vulnerable. Also we'll probably be infected ourselves by then. Might be mild, might not be.

Yes, I’m working on the assumption that everything everywhere will be cancelled for the next few months

Qwerty543 · 17/03/2020 00:06

That's what I thought.

Will they give refunds do you think?
