Any other parents concerned about the gun cocking sounds on tiktok dance/song vids? Obviously my kids enjoy doing all the dancy, fun stuff of tiktok but I ain't too happy about the gun sounds - interested to hear
others' thoughts.

How old are your kids?
I think I’d be more concerned about normalisation of young people (mainly girls) dancing in an age inappropriate manner to lyrics that they may not understand and the adult themed videos. Oh not to mention the fact that they can follow and be followed by anyone on the internet and access possibly inappropriate comments written by others to be honest

Tik Tok, aka the Paedo's Dream.

Isn't it just their friends who can see their posts?

Unless you have made the account private and only accept followers they know then anyone can view their content... also settings can easily be undone by someone who wants to, with getting views and likes a main aim of the app that is very tempting for a youngster.
However even if the account is private that doesn’t necessarily prevent a friend sending a video out of the app on WhatsApp to another person or screen recording a video to be circulated or posted elsewhere.
They can also see comments that others make... some of which are inappropriate comments about young girls bodies which is not something I want my daughter to see or if I had a son have him think it’s acceptable
