Anyone got a childs sporting camp abroad & been cancelled

Due to go to Prague and Finland with DS sport for camps and training. Organisers say may have to cancel due to Covid 19 and airline possibly cancelling flights.

Anyone else going abroad for similar?

My DS is meant to be going to Spain on a cricket trip at the end of this month. Not heard anything from the school yet but I am aware the schools are making plans in the event they have to close so I am expecting it to be cancelled

Ours are April...flying from Luton then the other camp is Heathrow

Not a camp but school skiiing trip to Bormio on 4th April. Cancelled today.

Not sport but music, tour to the US cancelled as state department has banned foreign school tours. They are trying to get money back.

DS meant to be going to France in July in a squad of over 100. Not heard anything yet but I'm guessing it will be cancelled

Denmark has gone into lock down...just announced

Ds2 meant to be going to Disney land Paris end of May. No word yet but I’m expecting it to be cancelled.

DS is supposed to be going to Holland on a sports trip next month. No word as yet.

I’ll be gutted for him if it’s cancelled, it would be his first trip abroad

My friend went to a school meeting tonight about a trip. The headmaster said he thinks schools will be told to close 2 weeks before Easter holidays!!!

DS ski trip to Italy at Easter was cancelled on Monday. Sad but obviously understandable.

My dd is supposed to be going to Orlando in two weeks on a science trip still going ahead at the moment

My DS is due to go on a school trip to France on Monday -- the school still currently plans to go ahead and won't cancel unless government advice changes...

So a friends sporting camp has been cancelled in Holland today - gutted for her son as it was his first time

Yeah he’s due to go at the start of the Easter hols to Valkenburg. We still haven’t heard anything from the school.

I bought tickets for a uk concert for my daughters birthday,I paid the extra fee...but not sure if this is included!!

DS spent 6 months trialling for a team to go and play abroad in the world schools football comp and obviously that's not going to be going ahead. He was so excited to be playing against people from all the different countries. But he's pragmatic that obviously it's not a great idea right now.

The trip to Prague we'll definitely be cancelled as Czechia won't allow anyone from Britain (or 13 other countries) in. The measures were announced this afternoon.

Government advice has been updated this evening to say all school trips abroad should be cancelled for the foreseeable future.
