They are DT1’s favourite new thing. He’s just figured out that he can line them up by himself (he’s 3 but significant delays due to autism) if I’m busy dealing with his brother. Yes, after about 7 or 8 he accidentally knocks them down but he’s happy to sit there for hours playing with them.
I bought a wooden set which has a few extra bits in it (like a bridge, a bell etc) but some of them are quite tricky to place so that they actually work.
If anyone has any tips / products for making dominoes more exciting, creating good runs etc let me know! He’s interested and learning so I’m happy :)
Trying to avoid the small plastic ones because both twins are mouthers and they’d be a choking hazard.
