Legoland castle hotel, is it worth it?

Simply that, does staying in the Castle on site add much to the experience or is Legoland good without this? Thanks

"worth it" depends on your own situation and what the money will mean you sacrifice, and balance that against what you get.

however, staying in the hotel gives you a head start on other customers for getting to the really popular rides that aren't included in the q-bot deal which effectively gives you much more than an extra hour of park time as you don't have an enormous queue to stand in.

also on your arrival day you get to park in a reserved area immediately which gives you another extra hour of park time because those who are staying off-site can spend an hour queuing through the car park before they get to park.

it also means that you don't all have to start and end your days at the same time, if you have members of your family who need to stop sooner than others.

and the themed rooms are definitely appreciated by the kids.

I would definitely like to stay in the hotel again if I had the money but times are a little tighter these days than they were when we did a legoland trip previously so I might think twice about it.

Thank you Vaden, we have booked for one night in the castle and one night with a friend in London who is coming with us. We went for the wizard themed room and my son is ecstatic. I hear you, definitely belt tightening times 🙏

I know a child who stayed in the castle hotel/wizard room and thought it was utterly amazing and the best hotel ever

Growingboys · 08/03/2020 21:41

Yes it's worth it. I took my boys for one night in the wizard room last summer and it was utterly utterly magical (and I find Lego boring as fuck).

I'm glad I went for it and that one night gives you a good enough dose of the magic! Thanks to all .
