Is there any dwp offices I can call on a Saturday?

I’ve googled and tried many numbers no to avail, they all seem to be mon-fri opening hours.

There has been issues with my ESA payments for the last 3 times. It was due to be paid yesterday and yet again wasn’t in. I spoke to a lovely lady, full of apologies, said it was getting investigated and they’d issue a same day payment. She said it would be in my bank by 5pm but worst case scenario with different banks we had to allow up to midnight. H

Low and behold, no payment whatsoever. My Asda shop got cancelled as I have no money in the bank, and I can’t get hold of anybody to see what has happened. I literally have no money at all.

Has this happened to anybody or know who I can call? Thanks.

Have you enough food to last until Monday when offices will be open?

I think, even if offices were open at weekends, they would be unable to get money to you before Monday anyway. As above, do you have food to last until Monday?

I'm afraid to say that you will be stuck without money until Mon as the dwp are mon-fri and so are the banks.

Have you checked your account since lunchtime? I've had same day payments come in the next day 🤞 for you

Just seems ridiculous they tell you to wait until midnight with no chance of contacting them until the following Monday!
Luckily my dads popped in with a bag of food and £20 bless him, as I physically can’t get to any shops (housebound). Never been this stuck before, can’t blame the woman on the phone as she seemed so helpful and actually annoyed on my behalf but there’s definitely been a balls up somewhere.
