Unexpected things that have happened to you tonight...

I've just had to break my daughter's door down as she got stuck in her room. Victorian property and the lock got stuck. Tried to jimmy it for an hour and a half and eventually broke it down after calling a locksmith and hearing their call out fee... I'm too skint for that so it amazing what a determined woman can do. Not what I had planned for tonight however. Anyone else had an evening that has done somewhat awry?

My husband fell asleep on a bench outside a pub, woke up to a teen trying to rob him and ended up having a 2 hour talk with him to try and help him get his life back on track.

That’s the kind of weird situations my husband can get into. He can talk to anyone!

OMG the same thing happened to my DS a few years ago, the day before his first A Level!

We were so lucky it didn't happen on the actual day as my DH and older DC wouldn't have been there to help and because it took almost 2 hours to free him Grin

All the time I was worried, the little git was apparently updating his social media, with a blow by blow account of the ensuing panic Hmm Grin

That sort of stuff used to happen to me a lot when I was younger. Glad he gave the guy the time of day rather than getting him arrested. Hope the chap takes the second chance!
