Go for it. I would.

Raera · 05/03/2020 18:42

Eggs? I wouldn’t take the chance

They're pasteurised though, for long shelf life.
I work in the food industry and I would eat it.

If it’s at all smelly or ‘gloopy’ ( odd consistency) then STOP! Had a v v bad experience with out of date mayo as a teenager.

TweetUsOnFacebook · 05/03/2020 20:04

Sniff it first

ChikiTIKI · 05/03/2020 20:36

I would. I'm pregnant and very careful about avoiding anything that might be harmful, if that makes any difference. It would be fine to eat that though!

GoldenFlaps · 06/03/2020 09:27

UPDATE: In the words of Barry Manilow "I made it through the night" Grin

Can you eat it at all now, Dragonfly?

OP posts:
ChikiTIKI · 06/03/2020 18:22

Good job 👍 hope it was tasty!

Lamentations · 06/03/2020 18:24

Yes!

I have an unopened block of paneer in the fridge with a use by of August 2018 and I fully intend to eat it. At some point in the future.

DragonflyInn · 06/03/2020 19:54

No!!! I feel ill at the thought of it Grin. Very glad you made it ok though and will have no such horror to haunt you!!

picklebarrelfalls · 06/03/2020 20:00

Bloody hell, what you waiting for @Lamentations 😂 are you seeing if it grows legs and runs off?
