Are moustaches becoming fashionable again?

I spotted no fewer than four young men (late teens/early twenties) at the gym today sporting tiny, manicured tashes Shock No sign of stubble/bum fluff on their chins so definitely intentional tashes. Another young guy with what can only be described as a full Tom Selleck dead rat on his face, it was truly horrific.

Has this replaced the hipster beard?

My ds1 has a beauty... he did have a beard, then shaved it off as a joke, leaving a magnificent moustache that he waxes into shape (curled up) when he's playing gigs!
I think it looks pretty dreadful .but his fiancee seems to like it!

I can understand a comedy/show-tache but isn't this how they become trendy again? My friend was in Milan in January and she noticed young Italian men doing the waxing thing! I don't live in the UK (amongst v hairy people though) so was wondering if it was a European fashion Grin

'Taches have been hipster-trendy for years. I do hope they're not breaking back into mainstream... blechhh

I hope the trend includes 40 something women as mine is coming on a treat.

Ooh I have a younger cousin who is a YouTuber and he has a tash at the moment, so must be fashionable!

DropYourSword · 05/03/2020 01:32

I hope so because I haven’t threaded mine in a while! I’m never on trend so this’ll be a nice change!
