Can’t seem to empty my bladder fully - anyone had this?

Sorry if this is TMI - don’t know where you can discuss these things!

Recently I’m finding that when I go to the loo, I very quickly need to go again - and there’s quite a bit still there. Just been, then brushed my teeth, realised I needed to go again.

I don’t think I have a UTI - I have no pain, burning, and when I get the urge there is actually urine to pass. It’s like I’m not emptying properly rather than getting the urge despite there being nothing there. When I get UTIs they may not be painful right away but that develops within a few days whereas I’ve been like this for weeks.

I do have endometriosis and adenomyosis so I wonder if it’s related. Had a c section for my twins 3.5 years ago but this is a recent issue (last couple of months maybe).

Anyone had anything like this?

Yes I’m doing all the learning forward, rocking, standing up and sitting down palaver - still no change. The odd sensation isn’t happening though and it’s not as painful now.

Unless I’ve been abducted by aliens I am definitely not pg 😬

I've had a number of bladder difficulties. Try cutting out all liquids other than plain water (no hot water with lemon, squash, juice, decaf tea or coffee, alcohol. JUST water) for 2 weeks then introduce each drink again for 3/4 days before introducing a new one. F it doesn't improve after that it's not about what you are drinking.

I could have written your post. I'm 10 weeks pregnant and had a UTI/kidney infection 3 weeks ago. Had antibiotics and dropped a sample in at the doctors on Friday for retesting. Anyway yesterday started with symptoms again never feeling like my bladder is empty doing a little wee but then needing to go agin. Went to walk in and then tested my tribe but couldn't find and trace of infection but did say there was blood in my urine and asked if I was on my period. She then sent me out of the room to speak with a gynaecologist and basically told me to make an appointment with my GP tomorrow as it would need investigation. Now I'm panicking. There was no reassurance about the baby or anything if she didn't realise I was pregnant I would have thought she would have tested my urine for pregnancy anyway? Or that it would have shown up. Sorry to hi jack your thread but if anyone had any advice or had similar I would appreciate your advice? I'm going to try some of these tricks in the meantime

sleepy I had something like that many years ago. I have endometriosis and they put it down to that but when I had surgery there was no evidence of anything there.

It may be residual from your kidney infection, I would try not to worry but definitely get checked out to be safe

feeling I will try that starting tomorrow - the only thing I drink regularly other than water is coffee (but only have one or two per morning) and occasionally a glass of coke but doesn’t seem to be a pattern. Will try excluding everything though and see if it helps (whether I survive my twins with no caffeine is another matter 😂)

To fully empty I open my legs wide when weeing. This helps.

Hi, I know it's been a while but just wondering how OP got on as I've got the exact same thing and test results show no infection but it's driving me mad and have the same tremor/vibrating sensation that comes and goes - gp has said to do the old watch and wait a week thing 🙄

Did you ever get to the bottom of it? I’m having the same. We should go to neorologist.
