DH is gonna be hungry then ain’t he.

Orchidflower1 · 29/02/2020 11:02

I wouldn’t - not with chicken.

Horehound · 29/02/2020 11:02

They have to cover their arses but there's always going to be a contingency. Like the chicken doesn't know what the clock struck midnight!

Doodlesquah1 · 29/02/2020 11:02

I wouldn’t risk it

UnexpectedItemInTheShaggingAre · 29/02/2020 11:03

Honestly it didn’t suddenly go off at midnight.
It’s been a few hours, you’ll be fine

Pomegranatemolasses · 29/02/2020 11:03

You will be able to clearly tell by the smell and appearance if they're ok or not.

Monkey2001 · 29/02/2020 11:04

Another vote for smell test.

thenightsky · 29/02/2020 11:05

Its only a few hours since 28th. They'll be fine.

mrsbyers · 29/02/2020 11:06

I have some serious medical conditions so I don’t take risks with dates but with raw fresh chicken you will smell it if it’s off - make sure it’s cooked right through and served piping hot

Now subway tikka chicken is a different story ....

Abraid2 · 29/02/2020 11:06

IF it smells OK it will be fine. Just cook it properly.

GaaaaarlicBread · 29/02/2020 11:07

Just smell it , my husband had some chicken the other day that was 3 days out of date (from use by), I didn’t have any as I’m pregnant and off chicken at the mo but he was fine ! Unless it’s funny colour or smelly it’s fine !

BennyBanana · 29/02/2020 11:08

Yep if it smells ok it’s ok.

Howgreenwasmyvalley · 29/02/2020 11:13

Some of us are old enough to remember when we didn't have dates on things. We all survived somehow.

Overseasmom100 · 29/02/2020 11:16

No smell whatsoever...nothing at all in fact!!

I'm going in folks....chicken curry here we come!!!!

Horehound · 29/02/2020 12:11

It'll be fine! Enjoy, sounds good :) might have that for dinner myself actually hehe

Thisismytimetoshine · 29/02/2020 12:18

I would with anything besides chicken. I’m OTT about chicken

stoplickingthetelly · 29/02/2020 12:44

I did the exact same thing earlier on in the week with Morrison’s chicken. Everything was fine. I’d definitely be using them.

Orchidflower1 · 01/03/2020 13:39

Did you survive @Overseasmom100

DropYourSword · 01/03/2020 13:42

She might be stuck on her toilet @orchidflower!

Overseasmom100 · 01/03/2020 13:42
