Is there any medication that can be prescribed for anxiety in pregnancy?

I’m usually prescribed propranolol but have been taken off it due to pregnancy

My anxiety is getting worse and each time I speak to my midwife about alternatives I can take she says she will refer me to the mental health midwife team but nothing happens

Is there anything I can take during pregnancy to help?

My daughter was on sertraline, she had to spend an extra night in hospital after the birth so they could check the baby wasn't on it too

Did the sertaline help? I’ve had a friend and a relative Prescribed it for this reason and they both ended up extremely depressed and suicidal, and had huge pnd when they had their babies. They assumed it was their own bad mental health that was the cause of the depression, until they read of similar cases, came off the sertraline and felt a million times better. I think it needs to be banned
