Background/chill out music - what’s your go to?

Hello, I’m in need of a bit of music inspiration please. What are your go to songs for just chilling out? Like if you are entertaining etc?

I love acoustic covers or songs like Norah Jones - Turn me on of Snow Patrol - Chasing cars, songs along those lines but I don’t quite know what to type in to Spotify/YouTube.

Unfortunately I’m well known for being the master of the jukebox classic or I just play whole albums which might not be to everyone’s taste. Any ideas appreciated 😀

Bon Iver

I follow chill lo fi beats on Spotify. They might have specific acoustic cover etc playlists. They might not always be your cup of tea but good to discover new stuff to listen to

I usually type in acoustic covers in Spotify and whole albums come up.

Vitamin string quartet- they do instrumental versions of anything from Taylor swift to film soundtracks. Perfect background noise as you half recognise the music without properly listening to it.

ANuggetOfTheFinestGreen · 27/02/2020 18:43

Ummmm, my relax go to is the soundtrack from the musical episode of Buffy! Not quite as sensible as the other suggestions I'm afraid.

Spotify, peaceful piano is really nice but it may be a little to laid back I listen to it while sending work emails .

Rupert Parker - Double harp , well know tracks played on a eletric harp. , I know it sounds a bit meh but it it is good ( I think )
