I'm sure DDs toys are moving around her room

I'm alone in the house- DDs are at school (and can't sneak home, it's over 2 miles and through a security checkpoint!), DH at work.

DD has a collection of ceramic animals that live on her window sill.. but I've just gone in to put her dressing gown away and found them in a perfect circle on her floor. I'm sure they weren't like that when I was upstairs an hour ago.

Logically, I just didn't notice them. But... I've seen Toy Story, who knows what they get up to when we aren't around...

novacaneforthepain · 24/02/2020 11:11

I'd be moving out 🤣

Ha!! I have a row of my childhood wade Noddy & co ornaments in a cabinet on a high up shelf (that DS cannot reach and hes disabled so cant climb) . Big Ears is always on the move!! Just Big Ears. If it was due to vibrations from the floor boards then it would surely be all of them? I always thought Big Ears was rather sinister....

Well, my daughter has a little zebra to learn to walk as she pushes it. when the wheels start moving you hear this singsongy voice that says: let's go for a walk!
It has happened several times when husband and daughter are out that I can hear the thing go off : come on, let's go for a walk! and the music plays out. The first time it gave me the shivers!

I once had some paper dinosaurs that moved round the room. I remember them well.

Once I'd recovered from tonsillitis and the high temperature that made me hallucinate they never moved again.

MummySharn · 24/02/2020 18:18

I’d be staying somewhere else

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 24/02/2020 18:19

It's not the toys, it's the poltergeist.

MamasAndPapas · 24/02/2020 18:22

Have you asked DD why she left them on the floor?

cushioncovers · 24/02/2020 18:23

Is op still alive? 😄

TheSheepofWallSt · 24/02/2020 18:26

DD2 denied all knowledge... But thinks it might have been DD1.

DD1 has also denied knowledge.

They are only a couple of inches tall... They can't hurt me.. I hope!
