After having 3 year old DS and 11 month old DD I am struggling with my identity a little. I haven’t bought clothes or items for myself in ages and as it’s my birthday coming up I’ve been asked what I would like- but I just don’t know!

Can I have some ideas please? I have think of a million things I would like to buy the kids, but nothing for myself.

Oddly, I'm hoping for a roof mounted cycle rack for my birthday, not sure that's everyone's idea of a good present though!

I love it

I've asked to have 'my colours' (not hair) done for my birthday present this year.
A few friends of mine have had theirs done and now wear colours they had never dreamed of wearing and I can honestly say, they look amazing!

Some great ideas on here already.

Vouchers and a session with a personal shopper - in most places there is no fee for them. They will help you find things you wouldn't try yourself.

A styling session with a personal shopper might be a good idea, help you find "you" again after being caught in the baby bubble.

Just as an aside, I used to to really struggle to think of things that I wanted for my birthday/Christmas, and found it stressful when people asked me. Now I keep a list in my notes and whenever I get a fleeting "oh I'd love that/should pick that up", I jot it down in the list. If I pick it up or no longer desire it, I just delete it.
Mine is mainly books 🙈
