Have you ever been on holiday in a Shepherds Hut?

What kind of layout did you like? What did you think they should have had in it but didn't?

I am getting one to rent out for holidays. I'm really excited, but can't decide on a layout. We saw one yesterday which had a tiny kitchen area- a Belfast sink, one bit of worktop with kettle and toaster, a mini fridge and microwave. This left enough room for a fairly large dining area with a bench that you could sit on a bit like a sofa.

I stayed in one with a larger kitchen area but this meant there was just room for a drop down table and stools. We felt we would have liked somewhere to sit without lying on the bed!

Outside we are having a corner sofa and coffee table, sunloungers and a table and chairs. But we want winter bookings too.

I would really welcome any opinions! It will be just for couples.

We stayed in one with the DC. The door was central with one double bed to the left, a sofa/pull down double to the right and a wood burning stove in front. Toilets/showers were en bloc and served the whole campsite. I think there was a BBQ too, but we just went to the pub as it was April.

It was a great adventure for a couple of nights. Obviously if it's for couples that leaves a bit more room for cooking facilities and the one you describe with a Belfast sounds lovely.
