Japanese soaking tubs

Does anyone have one or has used one?

We're reconfiguring our bathroom and hoping to fit in a walk-in shower but the room's not huge. Thought replacing the bath with one of these might be the answer. Essentially a bit like an individual hot tub.

Would be so helpful to know if anyone has (and loves hopefully!) one.

Stupid question but what’s the difference between an omnitub and a bath??

Shorter and deeper, LJT.

Talaxu I'm not planning to have a step - we don't have an awful lot of floor space for one thing - however I'm quite agile and my husband is tall so not a problem. We have a small fold-up stool which visitors could use if they needed to.

Some tubs are deeper than others and for the deepest ones a step is recommended I think.

You are stepping onto a raised seat area in the tub so that helps.

@highlandcoo are you able to tell me how much the Calyx is - I can't find a price anywhere?

@Kickboxingqueen I can't remember now but if you contact Cabuchon Bathforms they can hopefully give you the information.
