Who knew Lidl Deluxe packaging can't be microwave defrosted

Foolish of me as it turns out but i popped some lidl Deluxe meatballs in the microwave on defrost setting to turn into mini burgers for a half term film night treat.

Result microwave on fire, house stinks of smoke.

Be warned not to be as stupid as me :-)

I put packaging in the microwave unless the instructions specifically say to transfer to another container.

I will bear your warning in mind the next time I do a Lidl visit, thanks OP!
